Service area
Worth the drive from Northern Colorado.
JLSolutions serves riders from Fort Collins, Longmont, Loveland, Greeley, and this is the one honest exception to "local shop": it's roughly an hour from Fort Collins to Broomfield down I-25. That's a real drive, not a rounding error — it makes sense for specialist work, not for a routine fluid change you can get done closer to home.
What justifies the trip
Specialist work, not routine maintenance.
A fluid service or a wear-item check does not need an hour of driving each way — that work is worth finding closer to Fort Collins, Longmont, or Loveland. What makes the drive worthwhile is work that depends on depth of experience rather than proximity: a bottom-end rebuild or custom motor build, a fuel-injection fault that has already been through a shop or two without resolution, or a suspension revalve built around a specific rider and specific terrain rather than a generic baseline.
That depth comes from more than 16 years at master-technician level in auto racing — dyno work, race motor builds, and ECU tuning — none of it dirt-bike tenure, all of it now applied directly to dirt-bike engines and electronics. It is not the kind of bench time every shop within an hour of Greeley has.
What Northern Colorado riders bring in
Engine builds, EFI faults, and suspension revalves.
The bikes that make the drive down from Fort Collins, Longmont, and Greeley are usually here for one of three things: engine & motor work on a bottom end or a custom build, EFI & electronics diagnostics on a running fault that resisted a first attempt elsewhere, or a suspension & chassis revalve for a rider who wants the setup dialed to them specifically. Any of the three is worth a single planned trip.
Where northern riders ride
Main Draw OHV Area, Weld County.
The Main Draw OHV Area, a U.S. Forest Service riding area on the Pawnee National Grassland near Ault, sits within easy range of both Fort Collins and Greeley and is one of the few spots in the region open to unlicensed dirt bikes. It's seasonal — open November through early April — so it's a cold-weather option Northern Colorado riders use rather than a year-round track, and worth knowing about even outside that window when the bike is in for the off-season work that makes the next season better.
Only need something routine?
Consider a closer stop for routine work.
If the job is routine maintenance rather than specialist work, riders partway down the drive may find it simpler to combine the trip with a stop in Westminster or Thornton — see Westminster & Thornton.

Northern Colorado questions
- Is it really worth driving an hour from Fort Collins for dirt bike work?
- For routine maintenance, probably not — that's worth finding something closer to home. For an engine build, an EFI fault a local shop couldn't resolve, or a suspension revalve done properly, the specialist attention is worth the drive for a lot of Northern Colorado riders. Bring the bike in for the job that justifies the trip.
- Given the drive, do you offer pickup for Longmont, Loveland, or Greeley riders?
- No. There is no pickup or delivery service regardless of distance — riders trailer the bike in for a drop-off appointment, the same as everywhere else JLSolutions serves. Plan the drive as part of the visit.
